MESSAGE FROM OUR CHAIRMAN
IN 2025, SINGAPORE MARKED ITS 60ᵗʰ YEAR OF INDEPENDENCE
Like Singapore, Food from the Heart also began with humble roots in 2003 from a simple act of redistributing surplus bread to the less fortunate to be a major food distribution charity. We have created
a microsystem that brings together philanthropists, donors, community partners, corporations and volunteers through our work, towards a shared purpose of nourishing lives and uplifting those in need. Through our collective action, we shape a more caring and inclusive community.
Over the past year, we strengthened our programmes to better support lower-income families and vulnerable individuals. Challenged by inconsistent access to adequate safe, and nutritious food, they often have to stretch their groceries at the expense of their health. To that end, we served 70,000 beneficiaries by distributing $9.7 million worth of food.

OUR CEO
2025 marked our SG60 celebration.
To encourage a greater sense of collective responsibility and community care, our nation’s social compact was refreshed through a shift from a “me” to a “we” society. Amidst global tensions and conflicts, the call to “Building Our Singapore Together” emphasises the need for unity and resilience in our community. Our commitment has inspired many Singaporeans to step forward: strengthening
our community, preserving our culture, and looking out for one another.
