A Heart-warming Weekend

HEART ON WHEELS 2024

Held last weekend, on March 2 and 3 from 9am - 6pm, HEART ON WHEELS, our national food donation drive-thru was a triumphant success! Partnering with Wearnes Automotive for the second time, the two-day event saw 262 automobiles drove-thru to help us raise food to feed communities in need amid rising food prices. Our collective efforts raised over 32,000 food items and $76,700.

Strong Community, Stronger Families

Community building underpins HEART ON WHEELS. This unique food donation drive brings together the automotive community, Queenstown grassroots organisations and corporate organisations to do good to uplift the lives of the less-fortunate and vulnerable in the community. It was also heart-warming to see families come together to support this charity event.

Families with young children was a common sight at the charity event

Strong communities have a significant sense of purpose. The roles of individuals have meaning in the bigger picture of the community and each member of the group understands how their work connects to others’ and adds value to the whole.

On the same day, Polestar and Volvo Car Singapore rallied their owners to help with last mile delivery of food packs to our beneficiaries

Our heartfelt gratitude also goes out to our volunteers who checked, recorded and packed thousands of food items

One for the Books

A high point at this year's HEART ON WHEELS is when Tony Sebastian completed his record-setting experience. After spending five days in a Defender 110 from Land Rover (distributed by Wearnes Automotive), he was presented the 'Longest Stay in a Car' title from the Singapore Book of Records. Driving through the 28 districts in Singapore starting from February 28, he also helped to promote and raise awareness for the event.

Congratulations to Tony Sebastian for his new title in the Singapore Book of Records
