A Collection of Hopes for the New Year

I hope that at least my leg will get better, and also that my husband can rest more - he is working all the time, six days a week.

- Mdm Lim and Mr Law (above), Food from the Heart Beneficiaries

It would be nice to see more students volunteering at Food from the Heart during their school holidays to understand the plight of the needy, the problem of food wastage, and how blessed they are. It is a meaningful way to spend time!

All I hope for is health and peace for everyone.

For 2020, I wish for peace & harmony, be it at home, in or outside of Singapore. Peace & harmony will hopefully mean everyone gets to enjoy the basic necessities in life, which is to be sufficiently fed, clothed & housed.

To receive more food donations! And thoughtful ones, so that they benefit the needy well. Thoughtfulness shows that we care!

I am very thankful for Food from the Heart's food support in 2019 and I hope that I can still continue to receive this support as with my income at this time, it is not easy for me to support the family with good meal. If some months I can receive some fresh food that will be good too.

I hope that more people will be aware of the needs of the underprivileged, and for more people to take the time to come together and serve.

To continue to have hope!
